I know there has been several boards on work from home jobs but I wanted to post again.
Does anyone know of any companies that have good work from home oppertunities?
I applied to a company known as NTI a year ago and was cut during the interview because of being a screen reader user. It seems as if some of these jobs are all online based and jaws is not as easily adapted to the webpages.
There is a company called Express Scripts that is opening a new call center in Joplin missouri. The company I currently work for is advocating on people with disabilities behalf to get them to hire 5 to 7 people with disabilities. Its a good work from home full time position. Whether its jaws friendly or not I do not know for a few weeks. But it pays 20 thousand a year and has great benefits.
If interested message me and I'll give you more details.
I'll have to google the express scripts. I know of a couple work from home companies. One is baby2be.com and another is alpine access. Although, I'm not sure if they are accessible or not. Last I heard, baby2be isn't accessible but alpine access is.
I now know more regarding the express scripts job. They are officially hiring, if you want the link contact me privately. They company is based out of St. Louis, however they have call center location in ten other states. One of the members on their board of directors works at the Starkloft Disability Institute in STL and they have a good rate of hiring people who are disabled. Twenty-thousand is not a lot of money but its not bad also. A college degree is not necessary.
I'm a little confused. You were talking about call center locations for this express scripts, but originally started this as a work at home opportunities topic. So is this a job you could apply for only if there was a location in your area, or something that could be done from home if you could pass the test and so on for their application process?
Also, I noticed that you have to have a minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center.
I'd like the link if you could PM me. I'm a bit confused as well, but willing to check it out.
